Neolithic Jasper (stone) beads--2000 BCE? – unusual color, excavated in Southern Mali. I was told by an expert that there are likely only 6 or 7 full strands in existence. I saw one of these strands a few years ago in an on-line auction, starting price USD7000. See the grey-green strand in the footer at the bottom of the page, of beads I assembled a few at a time over a number of years.
