Patricio Robles Gil
Patricio Robles Gil – A multi-talented, visionary artist-conservationist, Patricio resides in Mexico City with his wife, Patricia Rojo (a medical doctor, surgeon, and his life-partner in conservation). His pioneering work in nature conservation was conducted for many years through his NGO, Unidos para la Conservación, and included (among many other things) critically-acclaimed rewilding work at the El Carmen Reserve on the Mexican side of the Río Bravo in the Big Bend area of Texas. Publisher of innumerable books and large format conservation photography editions, he initiated and produced annually 15 of the globally-recognized CEMEX Nature Series. His major activism in conservation photography, art, and communications was well-documented when he was the sole feature in the highly-regarded quarterly Artes de Mexico (edition 141 November 2025) (click here for link).
